Hi! Welcome to my site. I’m Julie, creator of The Rapp, and I recommend you spend less time on this page than you do on any other page of this site. But, this is technically a blog, and I think blog rules dictate that I need an “about me” page, so here goes…

I watch movies sometimes, and rarely remember specific quotes from them. I’ve never shied away from telling stories, but I’ve never been called a great story teller. So, this blog is very self-serving – I’m looking forward to building my repertoire of quotes and gaining a tool to improve my storytelling…

I started my career as an HR Business Partner at digital media companies and I’ve since transitioned to a coaching and consulting company, where my focus is business development, operations, and of course, coaching.

When I’m not working, blogging, or watching movies (mostly for this blog), I prefer to be outside – skiing in the winter, golf in the summer, hiking in the spring and fall, and jogging or walking the sterets year-round. I’m NYC-based, and having lived here for the past 15 years (with a couple short stints on the west coast), I’ve finally – reluctantly – accepted the fact that I am a New Yorker. I grew up in Fairfield, CT, though, and still call that home…

Now that you know all about me, I hope you enjoy this site and visit often. If you do – or even if you don’t – I’d love to hear your thoughts. Reach out at julietherapp@gmail.com!
